What 400 standing actually means

400 is the licensed standing capacity and it is a genuine 400, not a fire-limit fantasy. Seated it's 180, because sightlines and table spacing are real constraints.

If you're between the two, the honest answer is usually seated: an under-filled standing room is the worst-feeling event there is.
