What we stand for
Our story
The building was a tannery until 1974, then a furniture warehouse, then empty for eleven years. We opened it as a venue in 2019 after treating the room properly rather than hanging drapes and hoping.
Values
Rates published. Capacities honest. And performers get a green room with a shower and natural light, because the alternative says what you think of them.
Our approach
Book a walk-through, meet the engineer, see the rig, take the rate card away. No pressure and no bundled extras you didn't ask for.
Privacy policy
The Tannery Hall collects only what it needs to do the work, keeps it for three years, and anonymises rather than deletes so the record of what happened survives the person leaving.
How to complain, and what happens next
A complaint reaches the owner the same day. You get an answer within two working days and a named person who owns it until it is closed.
