About Halcyon Plumbing

Halcyon Plumbing has worked the north shore since 2009. Nine licensed plumbers and gasfitters, five vans, and a rule that the person who did the job is the person who comes back to it.

Every job is priced on a tablet before we start. If we find something we didn't expect, we stop and re-quote.

What we stand for

Our approach

We arrive, look, and show you the price before anything happens. For drains you see the camera footage. For gas you get the compliance certificate on the day, not posted in a fortnight.

Safety & WHS

Every gas installation is certified and lodged the same day. Our team holds current White Cards and we carry $20m public liability. Certificates are on the site if your strata manager needs them.

Privacy policy

Halcyon Plumbing collects only what it needs to do the work, keeps it for three years, and anonymises rather than deletes so the record of what happened survives the person leaving.

How to complain, and what happens next

A complaint reaches the owner the same day. You get an answer within two working days and a named person who owns it until it is closed.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

Within 60 minutes across the north shore, most nights inside 40. Our after-hours line is answered by a plumber, not a call centre.

Do you charge a callout fee?

The emergency callout is $180 and includes the first hour on site. Standard-hours quotes are free within our service area.

Will the price change once you start?

No. You get a fixed price on the tablet before any work begins. If we find something else, we stop and re-quote rather than adding it to the bill.

Are you licensed for gas?

Yes — NSW gasfitting licence 218847C. We issue a compliance certificate on the day for every gas installation.

Do you do strata work?

About a third of our book. We keep a job history per building so the next visit doesn't start from scratch.
