Foil & Fold is a five-chair colour studio on Gertrude Street. We do one thing seriously: colour that grows out kindly, so you're not held hostage to a six-week appointment you can't reschedule.

Every colour starts with a consultation and a strand test, and every formula is written down and kept.
### Our story
Marion opened the studio in 2016 after eleven years as a colour educator, on the theory that most colour disasters are consultation failures rather than technical ones. The free consultation has been non-negotiable since day one.

- Half-head foils — AUD 210 (120 min): Foils through the top and sides, toner, blow-dry.
- Full balayage — AUD 320 (180 min): Hand-painted lightening, toner and a cut. Grows out without a line.
- Grey blending — AUD 185 (90 min): Low-commitment blending to soften regrowth instead of covering it.
- Copper correction — AUD 420 (240 min): For colour that's gone brassy or banded. Priced after consultation.
- Cut and finish — AUD 110 (60 min): Dry cut, shampoo, blow-dry.
- Treatment — bond repair — AUD 65 (30 min): Added to any colour service.

## FAQ
Q: Do I need a consultation first?
A: For any lightening or correction, yes — it's free, takes 20 minutes and includes a strand test. It's how we avoid promising something your hair can't hold.
Q: How much will my colour cost?
A: Half-head foils start at $210, balayage at $320. Corrections are quoted after a consultation because the honest answer depends on what's already on your hair.
Q: Do you keep my formula?
A: Yes. Every colour is recorded and kept on file, so your shade is repeatable and we can send it to another salon if you move.
Q: Can you cover grey completely?
A: We can, but we'll also show you blending as an option. A lot of clients come in for coverage and leave on a blending plan instead.
Q: Do you have vegan products?
A: The whole colour line and most of the retail range is vegan and cruelty-free. We also have a fragrance-free room if you're sensitive.
